WHO WE ARE
Global YuanYao Family Legacy & Human Development Institute (Hong Kong) is an independent interdisciplinary research institute based in Hong Kong and connected globally.
The Institute examines long-term human development amid artificial intelligence and global transformation. Our work focuses on family legacy and next-generation growth, future talent development, educational innovation, career and life-course development, culture and family systems through interdisciplinary research, international comparison and practice-based inquiry.
For us, family legacy goes beyond the transfer of wealth and resources. It encompasses the intergenerational transmission of values, education, capabilities, culture and social responsibility. Human development concerns the whole journey through which individuals grow, make choices and realise their potential.
We bring together scholars, educators, industry experts and practitioners from around the world. Through research projects, white papers, academic exchange, international forums and cross-sector collaboration, we connect universities, research institutions, businesses, families and civil-society organisations—and translate research into applicable educational approaches, talent-development pathways and social practice.
Human-centred, interdisciplinary, international and practice-oriented, the Institute is building a research platform for family legacy and human development with global connectivity, intellectual rigour and practical impact.
